Who it's for
Three situations where a video beats every brochure.
-
Facility builders & technology suppliers
Show your installation running at a real customer site — climate, light, irrigation, automation — instead of renderings and data sheets.
-
Cultivation associations & medical producers
Document your facility for members, investors and authorities: what was built, how it works, which standards you follow.
-
Trade-fair organisers & brands
Event recaps and expert interviews that keep working long after the booth has been packed up.
Why documentary video
In a regulated industry, trust is built by showing.
Cannabis businesses can rarely advertise the way other industries do. A calm, factual documentary does what ads can't: it proves competence.
- 01
Trust & transparency
Buyers, members and authorities want to see what's behind the door. An honest look inside your facility builds more credibility than any claim.
- 02
Explains complex technology
HVAC, dehumidification, crop steering, container systems: on camera, with someone asking the right questions, complex technology becomes understandable.
- 03
Evergreen sales asset
A good facility video is used for years — in sales conversations, on your website, at trade fairs and in onboarding.
- 04
Investor & member communication
Show progress, milestones and the finished facility to the people who financed it — without having to bring everyone on site.
Formats
Six formats — combinable into one production.
One shooting day often yields a main video plus several short clips. We choose the formats that fit your goal.
-
Facility tour
A guided walk through your facility — from the airlock to the drying room — with the people who run it.
Ideal for: Builders, CSCs, producers
-
Technology deep dive
One system in detail: how it's built, how it's operated and maintained, what makes it different.
Ideal for: Technology suppliers
-
Project documentation over time
Several visits along the project — from construction and commissioning to the first harvest.
Ideal for: Builders, investors, members
-
Expert interview
Conversations with growers, engineers and founders — with questions that go beyond the marketing brochure.
Ideal for: Brands, suppliers, associations
-
Trade-fair & event recap
The most important talks, booths and voices of an event, condensed into a recap that lasts.
Ideal for: Organisers, exhibitors
-
Short clips for social
Vertical and square cut-downs with subtitles for LinkedIn and Instagram, derived from the main shoot.
Ideal for: Everyone

Why me
An industry insider behind the camera.
I'm Lorenz Minks. I plan cannabis facilities, audit them and have been documenting the industry on my own YouTube channel since 2022. That's why I know what's worth filming — and which questions your customers actually ask.
-
Knows what to film and what to ask
From grower to auditor: I know cultivation processes from the inside and ask the questions your audience has.
-
Understands technology and regulation
GACP/GMP audits of 10 facilities in PT, DE and CA — I know what matters in a compliant facility and what must not be shown.
-

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How many shooting days do I need?
It depends on the format. A facility tour, a technology deep dive or an interview can usually be filmed in one day on site. Project documentation accompanies several dates along the project. You'll get a concrete plan with the offer.
Do you travel to our facility?
Yes. I'm based in Küsnacht near Zurich and film worldwide — from Switzerland and Germany to anywhere your facility is. Travel costs are shown transparently in the offer.
Do we get to approve the final cut?
Yes. You receive a draft for review and give feedback before anything is released. Nothing is published without your approval.
Who owns the usage rights?
You receive the finished videos for your own channels — website, social media, trade fairs, sales and investor presentations. The exact scope of use is set out in the offer. A publication on the Research Gardens channel only happens if we agree on it.
What may be shown in a cannabis facility?
We define it together before the shoot: no security installations, access codes, camera or alarm positions, no identifying location details, no people without their consent. I also pay attention to advertising restrictions such as those in the German KCanG — the tone stays informative, not promotional.
